RANI MUKHERJI

Rani Mukherjee was born on 21 March 1978, is an Indian film actress who works in Hindi movies. Mukherjee comes from a film-oriented family of Bengali origin. Her father Ram Mukherjee is a retired director and one of the founders of Filmalaya Studios while her mother Krishna was a playback singer. Her brother Raja Mukherjee is a film producer, now turned director. Her maternal aunt, Debashree Roy, is a national award-winning Bengali film actress and her cousin, Kajol, is a popular Bollywood actress and another cousin, Ayan Mukherjee is the writer and director of Wake Up Sid.
Mukherjee is a trained Odissi dancer, and began learning the dance in the tenth grade. Mukherjee studied at Maneckji Cooper High School in Juhu, and later enrolled at Mithibai College in Mumbai.

Making her acting debut with Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat (1997), Mukherjee had her first commercial success with Karan Johar's romance Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), her biggest commercial success so far, and won a Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award for her performance in the film. She later starred in several films, most of which fared below expectations, but in 2002 she re-invented her image with the critically acclaimed drama Saathiya, for which she received numerous awards and nominations.
In 2004, her performances in the hit Hum Tum and the critically acclaimed Yuva earned her the Best Actress and the Best Supporting Actress awards at the 50th Filmfare Awards, making her the first actress to win two major awards in the same year. She later received unanimous praise for her portrayal of a blind, deaf and mute woman in Black (2005), for which she garnered numerous major awards. Mukherjee has since established herself as a leading actress of Hindi cinema.

SONAKSHI SINHA

Sonakshi Sinha (born 2 June 1987) is an Indian actress and model. She is the daughter of actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha and Punam Sinha. She has two brothers, Luv Sinha and Kussh Sinha. Sinha started her career as a model and walked the ramp at the Lakme Fashion week 2008 and then again in Lakme Fashion week 2009. She made her acting debut with the 2010 film Dabangg co-starring Salman Khan. The film went on to become one of the highest grossing Bollywood films.She Won FilmFare Award ( 2011 ) for Best Female Debut Dabangg

SRI  DEVI


Sridevi was born as Shree Amma Yanger to Ayyapan and Rajeswari on 13 August 1963 in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu. Her father was a lawyer. She has a sister and two step brothers. Sridevi married Boney Kapoor, a film producer and the elder brother of actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor, in 1996. They have two daughters, Jhanvi and Khushi (Krishna). Her mother tongue is Tamil.

Sridevi started her film career in Hindi cinema as a child arstist in Julie. As an actress her first film was Solwa Savan which was released in 1979. Solwa Savan turned out to be a complete flop and almost ended her career. Lady luck eventually shined on Sridevi when Himmatwala was released in 1983. Himmatwala turned out to be a super duper hit and established Sridevi as a super star. She quickly rose to the top spot toppling Rekha and Hema Malini. Her gyrating dances in scanty clothes earned her the nickname of Miss Thunder Thighs.

In early part of her career she gave many hits with Jitendra. Some of her films with Jeetendra were Himmatwala, Thofa, Mawali. Sridevi raced against Rekha and Hema Malini for the top spot and captured the number one position within a short span of time. She maintained her stay as number one for pretty long years. She gave many hits from year 1984 to 1993, and these were the best years of her acting career.
In her later part of the career she performed fabulously in Harmesh Malhotra's Nagina, Shekhar Kapoor's Mr India, Yash Chopra's Chandini, and Lamhe. Sridevi worked with Amitabh in Khuda Gawah, Inqualab and Aakhri Raasta. Big budget film Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja turned out a big flop and her career started to took southwards turn. Many more flopped followed Mr Bechara, Guru, Gurudev, Baanjaran, Farishtey and many more.

She has won four Filmfare Awards, two for Hindi films, and one each for Tamil and Telugu films.

VIDYA BALAN


Vidya Balan is a Tamil Iyer born on 1 January 1978 in Palakkad, Kerala. Her father is P.R.Balan who is the vice president of ETC channel while her mother is a homemaker. She has an older sister, Priya.
She is an Indian actress, who appears in Hindi films. After graduating with a degree in sociology, she started her career starring in music videos, television shows and commercial Advertising, before appearing in feature films. Her acting career started when she signed up for the Malayalam film Chakram, alongside Mohanlal but the film was shelved. After that, she signed for the Tamil film, Run, but for reasons undisclosed, she was dropped after a first schedule and replaced by Meera Jasmine. When Chakram was restarted with Prithviraj in the lead, Meera Jasmine was chosen ahead of Balan again.

From 1998 on wards, she appeared in numerous television ads, many of which were directed by Pradeep Sarkar. She also took supporting roles in music videos, appearing with singers and bands such as Euphoria, Shubha Mudgal, and Pankaj Udhas. Balan also portrayed the role of Radhika Mathur in a few episodes of the later seasons of Hum Paanch.
Balan made her movie debut in the Bengali film, Bhalo Theko in 2003. She later made her Hindi film debut with Parineeta (2005), which earned her a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut as well as her first Best Actress nomination at the same ceremony. She subsequently essayed a variety of character roles, receiving her first commercial success with Rajkumar Hirani's Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006). She subsequently appeared in such films as Guru (2007), Heyy Babyy and Bhool Bhulaiya (both 2008), the latter earning her another Filmfare nomination.

In 2009 she appeared as a single mother of a child suffering from progeria in R. Balki's Paa, her performance in which ultimately won her a Best Actress award at Filmfare. 2010 saw the release of Ishqiya, starring Balan in a role for which she was praised and awarded, and she followed it with her first real-life character of Sabrina Lal in the biopic No One Killed Jessica.
